چکیده

Abstract We present a multi-ob’jective two-echelon vehicle routing problem with synchronization and ‘grey zone’ customers arising in the context of urban freight deliveries. Inner-city center deliveries are performed by small vehicles due to access restrictions, while outside this area carried out conventional for economic reasons. Goods transferred from first second echelon synchronized meetings between respective echelons. investigate assignment vehicles, i.e., or echelon, within so-called on border inner city around it. While doing this, objective as well negative external effects transport, such emissions disturbance (negative impact citizens noise congestion), taken into account include objectives companies municipal authorities. Our metaheuristic – large neighborhood search embedded heuristic rectangle/cuboid splitting addresses efficiently. free part (‘grey zone’) echelons three different layouts solution. Computational results show that thus these depend significantly layout city. Potentially pareto-optimal solutions two illustrated efficiently support decision makers sustainable logistics planning processes.

A multi-objective Two-Echelon Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem for perishable products

This article addresses a general tri-objective two-echelon capacitated vehicle routing problem (2E-CVRP) to minimize the total travel cost, customers waiting times and carbon dioxide emissions simultaneously in distributing perishable products. In distributing perishable products, customers’ satisfaction is very important and is inversely proportional to the customers waiting times. The propose...

Comparing Two-Echelon and Single-Echelon Multi-Objective Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problems

This paper aims to compare a two-echelon and a single-echelon distribution system. A mathematical model for the Single-Echelon Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (SE-CVRP) is proposed. This SE-CVRP is the counterpart of Two-Echelon Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (2E-CVRP) introduced in the authors’ previous work. The proposed mathematical model is Mixed-Integer Non-Linear Programming (MIN...

periodic vehicle routing problem in reverse logistics with qualified customers

one of the important issues in transportation and logistics systems is vehicle routing problem (vrp). the vehicle routing problem is concerned with finding efficient routes of minimum total cost, beginning and ending at a central depot, for a fleet of vehicles to serve a number of customers. on the other hand, as a result of the increasing environmental concerns, economic problems and pressure ...

A new Bi-objective model for a Two-echelon Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem for Perishable Products with the Environmental Factor

In multi-echelon distribution strategy freight is delivered to customers via intermediate depots. Rather than using direct shipments, this strategy is an increasingly popular one in urban logistics. This is primarily to alleviate the environmental (e.g., energy usage and congestion) and social (e.g., traffic-related air pollution, accidents and noise) consequences of logistics operations. This ...

Multi-objective Optimization of Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows

Products distribution is a process on which products are moved from sources to customers. According to Toth and Vigo [1], transportation costs typically represent 10-20% of the final price of goods on the market. Over the past 20 years, Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) was especially solved through the use of meta-heuristics, see Jozefowiez et al. [2], Vidal et al. [3]. Eksioglu et al. [4] made a ...
